A society is made up of people with identical
culture and traditions within a given environment where they interact
with one another. The Church is a Christian society
that has the Bible as its canon or constitution. The purpose of
the Church, the `ecclesia,’ the called-out people from among
the Gentile nations, is to be a light, an example, a way-out to
those that sit in the region of darkness. Hence the role of the
church is to influence society positively to the glory of God.
