If man’s chief purpose as the “image of God” is to glorify God and enjoy our relationship with him forever, then this would also be the chief purpose of marriage. Paul explains in Ephesians 5:21 – 23 that the marriage relationship is to be patterned after that of Christ and the Church.

Mission is God’s search-party for souls, therefore God is the author of missions and every soul-winning activity. Mission is thus God’s heartbeat program to regain every missing soul.
