The
Word Power Church was inaugurated on the 5th of December
1993. It now has 10 branches (parishes spread across two states
of the federal republic of Nigeria (Rivers State and Abia
state).Our focus includes:
(a) To be conformed to the image of Christ(i.e. Holiness)
– Romans 8: 29
(b) Raising Disciples of Christ through the word and prayer.
– Luke 16:15

It
is necessary for leaders today to know what is happening in society
in order to plan the best course of action for the Church, and
make God’s message relevant to people’s lives (1 Chron.
12:32).
Christians should avoid appearances and behavior that detract
from our ultimate goal of being “believable witnesses”
for Jesus Christ. Consequently, believers should look and behave
in ways that are honourable within their own culture and tradition
(1 Cor. 11:13 – 16).
